Position: Senior US Accounting Analyst

Location: K1/17, CR PARK, NEW DELHI 110019

Department: Accounts & Finance

General Description (GD):

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior US Accounting Analyst with strong expertise in QuickBooks, US Taxation, Payroll management, GAAP standards, and GAP Standard compliance. The ideal candidate should have a proven background in the e-commerce industry, with the ability to handle complex accounting operations, compliance requirements, and financial reporting.

This role is critical to ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all aspects of our financial and accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management

  2. Oversee all bookkeeping and accounting activities in QuickBooks Online/Desktop.

  3. Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways (Shopify, Amazon, PayPal, Stripe, etc.).
  4. Manage accounts payable and receivable.

  5. Supervise payroll processing and ensure compliance with U.S. labor laws.

  6. Financial Reporting

  7. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.

  8. Conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actual).

  9. Maintain sales performance dashboards.

  10. E-commerce Analytics

  11. Track sales by channel, product, and customer segment.

  12. Monitor return/refund trends, shipping costs, and profit margins.

  13. Provide data-driven insights to help optimize pricing, marketing spend, and inventory levels.

  14. Compliance & Taxes

  15. Coordinate with U.S. CPA for sales tax, state filings, and year-end tax submissions.

  16. Ensure 1099s/W-2s and payroll taxes are properly handled.

  17. Maintain GAAP-compliant records.

  18. Process Improvement

  19. Automate data imports between QuickBooks, Shopify, Amazon, etc.

  20. Set up and monitor inventory valuation and cost accounting processes.

  21. Implement controls for expense approvals and vendor payments.

  22. Strategic Analysis

  23. Forecast cash flow, expenses, and revenue.

  24. Analyze ad spend ROI and help plan budgets.
  25. Advise management on cost-saving opportunities.
