About the role:

As an Senior Art Director, you are required to bring ideas to life through your creative designs.This role requires you to proactively provide feasible & innovative design solutions for events & activations. You are expected to have a strong understanding of 2D graphics, and scenic designs and environmental graphics. You shall be the point of coordination between all involved in the event-client, internal teams at Hyperlink including Client service, Production, Concept, Design as well as external agency partners

Responsibilities:

  1. Creative Output on briefs received:

  2. Meet with Client Service team/ Client &understand briefs

  3. Develop design briefs by gathering information and data through research
  4. Visualize, brainstorm, ideate& transform ideas into effective designs/artwork/templates
  5. Sketch ideas whenever required
  6. Give direction, inputs, suggestions to the team on briefs
  7. Attend reccees if required to get a fair idea of the event venue
  8. Keen eye on design aesthetics- use a good sense of aesthetics & judge & visualize the right style of design.
  9. Create identity designs, environmental graphics, illustrations OR commercial art/ scenic designs, stage or exhibition designs and spatial designs.
  10. Create print files & art files that can be sent to printers for printing/ Create production files with specifications of all materials and ensure feasibility
  11. Being ahead of the curve to provide directions to the team & advice the client
  12. Incorporating the latest trends in graphic design
  13. Updated knowledge of software and tools of the trade

2.Client Related Goals:

  • Attend Client meetings whenever required Research on clients & brands to deliver an effective creative design; Staying updated on brand knowledge
  • Having the sensibilities to understand the brand, brand guidelines (colors), the client's core message, target audience and other needs of the client
  • Ability to Present & Explain Designs to clients
  • Uphold integrity of the brand by following ethical practices
  • Project conversion for existing clients
  • Project conversion for new clients

3.Project Management & Internal Coordination

  • Adhering to internal/ client timelines
  • Coordination with the concept team to ensure that the copy and design are in sync*
  • Effective communication of the final art works to relevant internal departments-CS, production (for final execution).
  • Working with the Production Department, overseeing the print production process to ensure design integrity, color accuracy and image quality are met
  • Working in tandem with other departments (Concept/CS/Production) to gain understanding of consumer experience, marketing strategy and operational capabilities
