About the role:As an Senior Art Director, you are required to bring ideas to life through your creative designs.This role requires you to proactively provide feasible & innovative design solutions for events & activations. You are expected to have a strong understanding of 2D graphics, and scenic designs and environmental graphics. You shall be the point of coordination between all involved in the event-client, internal teams at Hyperlink including Client service, Production, Concept, Design as well as external agency partnersResponsibilities:Creative Output on briefs received:Meet with Client Service team/ Client &understand briefsDevelop design briefs by gathering information and data through researchVisualize, brainstorm, ideate& transform ideas into effective designs/artwork/templatesSketch ideas whenever requiredGive direction, inputs, suggestions to the team on briefsAttend reccees if required to get a fair idea of the event venueKeen eye on design aesthetics- use a good sense of aesthetics & judge & visualize the right style of design.Create identity designs, environmental graphics, illustrations OR commercial art/ scenic designs, stage or exhibition designs and spatial designs.Create print files & art files that can be sent to printers for printing/ Create production files with specifications of all materials and ensure feasibilityBeing ahead of the curve to provide directions to the team & advice the clientIncorporating the latest trends in graphic designUpdated knowledge of software and tools of the trade2.Client Related Goals:Attend Client meetings whenever required Research on clients & brands to deliver an effective creative design; Staying updated on brand knowledgeHaving the sensibilities to understand the brand, brand guidelines (colors), the client's core message, target audience and other needs of the clientAbility to Present & Explain Designs to clientsUphold integrity of the brand by following ethical practicesProject conversion for existing clientsProject conversion for new clients3.Project Management & Internal CoordinationAdhering to internal/ client timelinesCoordination with the concept team to ensure that the copy and design are in sync*Effective communication of the final art works to relevant internal departments-CS, production (for final execution).Working with the Production Department, overseeing the print production process to ensure design integrity, color accuracy and image quality are metWorking in tandem with other departments (Concept/CS/Production) to gain understanding of consumer experience, marketing strategy and operational capabilities
