We are expanding our operations in Hyderabad and are looking for an experienced Stores Executive to manage inventory and material control functions aligned with industry standards.

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Stores Executive to handle material receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation related to aerospace and defence components. The ideal candidate must be familiar with inventory management systems and storage protocols for technical components such as electronic assemblies, machined parts, fasteners, and raw materials used in regulated industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and technical specifications.
  • Ensure proper storage of aerospace and defence components, maintaining traceability and compliance.
  • Manage stock levels and issue materials based on production or project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems and conduct periodic cycle counts and stock audits.
  • Ensure proper handling of sensitive components (ESD protection, humidity control, etc.)
  • Label and tag inventory items per batch/lot control and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with Quality, Purchase, and Production departments to support workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain documentation for material movement, GRNs, MRNs, and issue slips as per ISO/AS9100 or other regulatory standards.
  • Implement 5S and safety practices within the stores area.
  • Handle disposal of rejected or obsolete materials in coordination with QA and Purchase.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Industrial Engineering or any related discipline.
  • 24 years of experience in inventory or stores management in aerospace, defence, or precision engineering environments.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally Prime, etc.).
  • Familiarity with handling aerospace materials, shelf-life items, and standard packing/handling practices.
  • Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and defence documentation (e.g., MIL-STD).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and inventory control.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in stores operations for DRDO, HAL, BEL, or other defence manufacturing setups.
  • Awareness of import/export documentation, bonded store management, or customs-related compliance.
  • Certification in inventory or warehouse management (optional but beneficial).

Location & Work Conditions

  • Location: On-site at our Hyderabad facility
  • May require occasional overtime or weekend support during audits or project deadlines.
