 About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead, Veeva Commercial Platform to lead the Veeva Implementation, optimization and support portfolio for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing success of our Veeva Commercial Cloud projects, optimizing commercial performance for our clients. You will leverage your deep understanding of the Veeva Commerical ecosystem (CRM, ALIGN, VAULT,  promomats, MyInsights/x-pages, etc.) to enable our clients drive key business decisions and positive commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Veeva Implementation and Enhancements: Oversee the implementation and ongoing enhancements of Veeva Commercial Cloud solutions (CRM, ALIGN, VAULT,  promomats, MyInsights/x-pages, etc.), including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
  • Solution Design and Configuration: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective Veeva solutions. Configure, integrate and customize Veeva applications to meet specific business requirements.
  • Project Management: Manage Veeva-related projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery. Develop project plans, track progress, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Business Process Optimization: Analyze existing commercial processes and identify opportunities for improvement leveraging Veeva functionalities. Streamline processes and maximize efficiency through automation and best practices.
  • User Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs for Veeva users. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure user adoption and satisfaction.
  • Vendor Management: Manage the relationship with Veeva, including contract negotiations, support requests, and escalations.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of the latest Veeva product releases, features, and best practices. Proactively identify opportunities to leverage new functionalities to improve business performance.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Ensure data integrity within Veeva systems. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into commercial performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Effectively communicate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and Veeva representatives. Build strong relationships and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Compliance and Security: Adhere to all relevant compliance and security regulations related to Veeva systems and data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, statistics or mathematics.
  • 7+ years of experience in a Pharma Commercial setting, focusing on omni-channel customer engagement, Field focused solutions, marketing, CRM, content management and digital channels.
  • Deep understanding, both implementation and architecture, across data, UI, APIs, workflows of the Veeva products including Veeva CRM, ALIGN, VAULT, MyInsights/x-pages, PromoMats, Medical, Network, etc.
  • Certifications in Veeva CRM, Veeva Network, and related Salesforce modules is highly desirable.
  • Experience with , Apex, Lighting UI, and Visualforce and integration with wider enterprise ERP, CMS,  and HRIS systems.
  • General proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python; experience with data management (SQL, MDM, etc.) and visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
  • Proven project management skills, including experience managing complex projects, senior client stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical or biotech industry regulations and compliance requirements like HIPAA, CCPA, SOC, etc.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to details, biased for quality and client centricity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills.
