Job Description

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Defense Patrol Driver in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an Aero and Defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols support a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication skills provide exceptional customer service. This role is a driving post, requiring you to operate vehicles as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter areas, which may include aerospace and defense-related environments.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report observations according to site protocols to help to deter unwanted incidents.
• Collaborate with team members and site staff to maintain a welcoming and secure location for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience, or 2 or more years of experience as a security supervisor or manager, or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
• Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required by the client.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
