Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
Cash Applications Associate/Analyst
to join our Finance Shared Services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying incoming payments to customer accounts accurately, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely cash posting.

Responsibilities

  • Post and apply customer payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers, credit cards) accurately in the ERP system.
  • Research and resolve unapplied or unidentified payments.
  • Work closely with AR, Collections, and Billing teams to ensure accurate allocation of payments.
  • Reconcile daily cash receipts and maintain documentation for audit purposes.
  • Identify short payments, overpayments, and deductions, and take corrective action.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Cash Application and Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations and payment matching.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Workday preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
