Job Objective

  • Lead end-to-end proposal development for utility-scale solar projects, ensuring timely and high-quality bid submissions.
  • Develop bid strategies, optimize cost estimates, and align proposals with company goals.
  • Integrate technical, commercial, and financial inputs to prepare competitive proposals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cost-effective solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Review tender documents, specifications, and commercial conditions.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, solutions, and presentations.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, legal, and finance teams.
  • Ensure compliance with tender requirements and contractual terms.
  • Track bids, maintain proposal databases, and support performance improvement.
  • Engage with clients during pre-bid meetings, clarifications, and negotiations.

Core Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, plant components, and tendering process.
  • Expertise in techno-commercial evaluation and financial modelling.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and proposal tools.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids under tight timelines.
  • Experience in vendor coordination, cost benchmarking, and contract risk assessment.
  • Support in tender documentation, pricing inputs, and bid submission.
  • Ensure adherence to tax, compliance, and project-specific commercial conditions.
  • Prepare MIS reports on project costs, contracts, and vendor performance.
