Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Academic Sales Advisor located in Kochi. The Academic Sales Advisor will be responsible for engaging with potential students, providing information about courses, understanding their educational needs, and offering appropriate advice. Day-to-day tasks include conducting sales presentations, following up on leads, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting students through their enrolment process. Additionally, the role involves collaboration with the training team to ensure alignment with educational offerings.

Key Responsibilities
1. Student Counseling: Understand students' career goals, academic background, and course requirements; provide personalized guidance.

  1. Admissions & Sales: Convert student inquiries into enrollments; follow up on leads and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective students.

  2. Career Guidance: Advise students on career opportunities, higher education pathways, and skill enhancement programs.

  3. Communication: Maintain consistent communication with students and parents via calls, emails, and meetings.

  4. Reporting & Documentation: Keep accurate records of student interactions, counseling sessions, and admission progress.

  5. Workshops & Seminars:Conduct orientation sessions, information sessions, and workshops to attract prospective students.

  6. Collaboration: Coordinate with faculty, marketing, and administration to achieve enrollment targets and ensure smooth student onboarding.

Qualifications
:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • Prior experience in academic counseling, student enrollment, or education sales is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of educational programs, career options, and student guidance techniques.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and persuasion skills.
  • Target-driven with a proven ability to convert leads into enrollments.
  • Empathy and patience in counseling students and parents.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
