Vendor Sourcing Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify sourcing opportunities and industry best practices.
  • Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure long-term collaboration and value creation.
  • Monitor supplier performance against agreed KPIs (cost, quality, delivery, service).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (procurement, finance, operations, supply chain, legal) to align vendor selection with business needs.
  • Manage risk by ensuring vendor compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive cost savings initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, agreements, and supplier performance reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or sourcing roles.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
  • Industry-specific sourcing knowledge is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹800, ₹900,000.00 per year
