Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Representative to lead business development for our PHP development services. You will identify client needs, present technical capabilities, and close deals for custom PHP-based web applications, CMS development, and open-source integrations.
This is a client-facing role that requires both technical understanding and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive outbound and inbound sales for PHP-based web development services.
- Understand customer needs and recommend tailored solutions using PHP technologies (e.g., Laravel, WordPress, Symfony).
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop proposals, pricing, and project scopes.
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and report activity via CRM tools.
- Stay current with PHP development trends and competitive offerings.
- Build long-term client relationships and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in IT, software, or web development services.
- Strong understanding of PHP and related frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, or CMS platforms such as WordPress and Drupal.
- Proven ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce).
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely and independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling open-source web solutions or CMS development services.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, MySQL, and full-stack development workflows.
- Previous work with clients in e-commerce, media, healthcare, or education sectors.
- Basic understanding of hosting, scalability, and security in web applications.
