  • Job Title: Sales Officer
  • Location: T. Nagar, Chennai
  • Experience: 5–15 years in FMCG sales & distribution

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely primary orders from distributors and optimal inventory at distributor warehouses
  • Visit retail outlets regularly to ensure product availability, prominent shelf visibility, and execution of POP/POS displays .
  • Plan and implement trade activations, promotional campaigns, and in-store merchandising initiatives .
  • Conduct market research to analyze competition, spot consumer trends, and identify new outlets and distributors .
  • Expand territory by onboarding new retailers/distributors and driving share-of-shelf growth .
  • Meet monthly/quarterly/annual sales volume and value targets..

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of FMCG sales experience, proven success in distributor & trade management.
  • Strong grasp of distributor dynamics, general trade, and trade-marketing principles
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with capability to interpret sales data and market trends.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
