We are looking for a Junior Accountant to assist in managing daily financial records, GST filing, and general accounting work under the supervision of our finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily accounts including vouchers, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
  • Prepare and update cash flow statements, income & expense summaries, and ledger reconciliation.
  • Handle GST filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and maintain proper documentation for returns and input tax credit.
  • Record and verify sales, purchase, and expense entries accurately.
  • Prepare invoice records, payment follow-ups, and maintain outstanding lists.
  • Conduct bank reconciliation and ensure timely settlement of transactions.
  • Manage petty cash and ensure all expenses are properly recorded with bills.
  • Assist in TDS calculation, challan payment, and quarterly returns.
  • Prepare monthly salary sheets, reimbursement statements, and maintain employee payment records.
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial reports for management review.
  • Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant for annual audit, compliance, and tax filing.
  • Ensure all supporting documents, bills, and ledgers are filed systematically and ready for inspection.
  • Maintain vendor payment records, verify bills, and ensure timely disbursement.
  • Provide basic budget and expense analysis to management when required.
  • Keep track of statutory deadlines (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and ensure timely compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting, GST, and finance management (freshers with solid knowledge may apply).
  • Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax basics.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets for reports and summaries.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in financial data.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
