Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Central Kolkata

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Junior Accountant to join our team in Central Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have working knowledge of Tally, purchase and sales entry, basic computer skills, and online banking operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and maintain daily purchase and sales entries in Tally.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices and bills.
  • Conduct online banking transactions, fund transfers, and reconciliation.
  • Assist in bank reconciliation statements and ledger maintenance.
  • Prepare basic financial reports as needed.
  • Support senior accountants in routine accounting tasks.
  • Maintain data accuracy and confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role (freshers with Tally knowledge can apply).
  • Proficient in Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Familiar with online banking procedures.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Minimum Qualification: B.Com or equivalent (preferred).
