**Job Description**:
Join our team at Jay Ganesh, a leading kids' clothing manufacturing company based in Kolkata. We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Junior Accountant to support our finance department with daily accounting tasks and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation and management of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor company accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
- Prepare and file tax returns and other financial documents as required.
- Assist in internal and external audits.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Junior Accountant or similar role.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English and Bengali.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
