Job Title: E-Commerce Manager

Location: Dhekiajuli

Reports To: CEO / Head of Business Development.

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are a newly established organization seeking an experienced E-Commerce Manager to build and lead our online business from the ground up. This role involves setting up our e-commerce infrastructure, selecting and implementing technology platforms, developing digital marketing strategies, managing product listings, and ensuring an exceptional online customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. E-Commerce Setup & Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with the company's goals.
  • Identify and select suitable e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.).
  • Oversee website design, development, and UX optimization.
  • Integrate payment gateways, logistics, CRM, and ERP systems.

2. Product & Catalog Management

  • Coordinate with internal teams to create and manage online product catalogs.
  • Ensure accurate product descriptions, pricing, and inventory updates.
  • Implement SEO best practices for product listings.

3. Digital Marketing & Growth

  • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, email marketing).
  • Drive online traffic, conversion, and customer acquisition.
  • Oversee social commerce and marketplace presence (Amazon, Flipkart, Noon, etc., if applicable).

4. Operations & Performance

  • Set up and manage order fulfillment, shipping, and returns processes.
  • Monitor KPIs such as sales performance, conversion rate, and ROI.
  • Generate regular reports and insights to drive data-based decisions.

5. Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Recruit, train, and lead a small e-commerce and digital team.
  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management or digital marketing.
  • Proven experience setting up an e-commerce business or managing online stores.
  • Strong understanding of digital analytics, UX/UI, SEO, and paid media.
  • Hands-on experience with e-commerce tools (Shopify, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience launching new brands or start-up environments.
  • Knowledge of omnichannel retail and marketing automation.
  • Ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution.
