Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards such as ISO, ASME, API, ASTM, BS, IS.
  • Work extensively with API norms, especially API 6D, EN12756 and SP 2342.
  • Drive R&D activities from conceptualization to prototype development and commercialization.
  • Prepare and verify GADs (General Arrangement Drawings), BOMs (Bill of Materials), and manufacturing drawings.
  • Perform cost estimation, costing reviews, and identify cost reduction opportunities in existing products and new development projects.
  • Handle and resolve technical queries from internal teams and customers at all levels.
  • Maintain comprehensive development documentation and files for all projects.
  • Work on the standardization of parts and products to streamline production and reduce complexity.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Inside Sales teams to provide technical support and ensure technical compliance with customer requirements.
