Job Summary:
The Area Sales Manager will be a pivotal figure in driving sales growth and expanding market share within a specific assigned territory. This role demands a strong understanding of educational and business technology needs, exceptional sales acumen, direct client relationship management across diverse channels, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets for electronic devices. Prior experience within the stationery channel is preferred but not mandatory. will be a pivotal figure in driving sales growth and expanding market share within a specific assigned territory. Experience: 2-5 years of progressive sales experience. Proven expertise in channel sales and general trade. Deep understanding of target market dynamics. Proficiency with applications like CRM and other relevant tools.
Role & responsibilities
- Consistently deliver results by growing existing partner revenue each quarter.
- Manage partner relationships with the present clients and manage business and go-to market plans.
- Develop appropriate revenue-sharing deals, including reselling, referral and inbound and outbound sales.
- Recruit potential partners to align with our growth plans.
- Appointing Distributors in the assigned area.
- Ability to consistently drive sales growth, meet challenging targets, and generate significant revenue within a defined sales territory, focusing on higher ROI.
- Consistently monitor competitor activities and market trends to develop and implement effective counter-strategies and maintain a competitive edge
Report to: Regional Sales Manager.
Preferred candidate profile
Prior experience within the stationery channel is preferred but not mandatory.
Educational Qualification: A bachelors degree in any field.
