Inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee/Assistant Manager, Payroll Operations
This role is essential in optimizing payroll operations by leveraging payroll data, information and administering payroll to enhance workforce experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration, operational support, and fostering collaboration across HR and business functions.
Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership:
- Lead a team of payroll analysts, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching to enhance efficiency.
2. Payroll Operations:
- Oversee payroll activities, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Address and resolve complex payroll issues or escalations.
3. Reporting and Analytics:
- Generate payroll reports for management review and decision-making.
- Analyse trends and provide insights to improve payroll operations.
4. Compliance and Process Improvement:
- Ensure compliance with US statutory requirements and company policies.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Payroll or a related role, with a strong background in leadership.
- Advanced proficiency in payroll software and reporting tools.
- Five Days working from Office
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Certification in payroll management or HR operations.
- Experience in process improvement and automation.
- Preference of an understanding of Workday/HRMS Payroll module
