Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Executive, based in Chennai. A Sales Executive at a media production company is responsible for driving business growth by identifying clients, pitching services, and closing deals for projects such as commercials, corporate videos, digital ads, films, music videos, and branded content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients across brands, agencies, corporates, and content creators.
  • Pitch production services, creative solutions, and project packages effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Understand client requirements and collaborate with the creative/production teams for proposals, budgets, and project timelines.
  • Prepare and present sales decks, quotations, and project pitches.
  • Meet monthly/quarterly sales targets and generate consistent revenue.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging media opportunities.
  • Maintain CRM records, follow up consistently, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to network, negotiate, and close deals confidently.
  • Understanding of media production, advertising, branded content, and digital marketing.
  • Goal-oriented, self-driven, and comfortable working in a creative environment.
  • Prior experience in media, advertising, or entertainment sales is an advantage.

**Qualifications

Educational Requirements (Preferred):**

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related field.
  • MBA or specialization in Sales/Marketing is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 1–3 years experience in sales, business development, or client servicing (media, advertising, production, or digital marketing field preferred).
  • Freshers with strong communication and passion for media can also be considered.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of media production, advertising, and digital content trends.
  • Ability to pitch creative solutions and explain production services clearly.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and basic sales reporting.
  • Strong networking ability and confidence in approaching clients.
  • Goal-driven with the ability to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
  • Good problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
