Walk in Interview - Sales Executive (Chennai)
Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive General Trade to expand our market presence in packaged drinking water. The role involves handling retail sales, driving secondary sales, ensuring product visibility, and building strong relationships with distributors and retailers in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly sales targets through effective coverage of retail outlets, and general trade channels.
- Drive secondary sales by ensuring regular product availability at retailers.
- Generate new leads, onboard retailers, and increase outlet penetration in the territory.
Market Expansion & Visibility
- Ensure product display and brand visibility across GT outlets.
- Execute promotional campaigns, offers, and sampling activities to boost consumer demand.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and schemes, and share insights with management.
Channel Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, stockists, and retailers.
- Ensure smooth coordination for order booking, supply, and delivery.
- Track stock movement, shelf placement, and timely replenishment.
Collections & Reporting
- Collect payments from retailers as per company credit policy.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, collections, and outlet coverage.
- Submit daily/weekly reports on sales performance, secondary sales, and market feedback.
Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum: Graduate preferred.
- 79 years of experience in FMCG sales (General Trade).
- Experience in beverages, packaged drinking water, or consumer goods is highly desirable.
