Position: Commis Chef (Commis 1 / 2 / 3 depending on experience)

Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Commis Chef to join our culinary team at the Inej Executive Lounge, Chennai. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of food preparation, hygiene standards, and the ability to deliver consistent quality in a premium hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef and kitchen team in daily food preparation and production.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards at all times.
- Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines.
- Support in managing kitchen inventory and storage.
- Ensure timely preparation and service during operational hours.
- Work collaboratively with service teams to ensure smooth coordination.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and appearance of dishes.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts / Hotel Management.
- 1–3 years of experience as Commis Chef in a lounge, hotel, or restaurant setup.
- Knowledge of Indian and Continental cuisine preferred.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
Location: Chennai – Inej Executive Lounge
Working Days: 6 Days a Week
Salary: Competitive + Sales incentive + Meals + Accommondation
