About the Role:

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Area Sales Manager to lead and strengthen our sales operations across Alappuzha, Kottayam & Idukki. The ideal candidate must possess strong market understanding, excellent relationship-building skills, and proven expertise in the building materials / plywood industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and achieve monthly and annual targets for the assigned territory.
  • Develop, manage, and strengthen the dealer and distributor network in the region.
  • Identify potential markets, new dealers, and business opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors, architects, and key influencers.
  • Conduct regular market visits to gather business insights, competitor updates, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure timely collections, outstanding management, and adherence to company credit policies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, dispatches, and inventory planning.
  • Prepare and submit timely sales reports and market feedback
  • Represent the company in promotional events, product demonstrations, and customer meetings.

Required Skills & Educational Qualification

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Minimum 6+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in building materials / plywood.
  • Willing to travel within the assigned region.
  • Strong understanding of channel sales, market dynamics, and dealer management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to independently manage territory operations and deliver results.
  • Good analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Email).
  • Must possess a two-wheeler and a valid driving licence.
