Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, with at least 1–2 years in training or coaching roles.
  • Experience in the FMCG, retail, or service industry preferred.
  • Certification in Training or Learning & Development (added advantage).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Development & Delivery
  • Design, plan, and conduct training programs focused on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer handling.
  • Develop engaging training materials such as manuals, presentations, role plays, and videos.
  • Deliver both classroom and on-the-job training sessions to new and existing sales staff.
  • Needs Assessment & Planning
  • Identify skill gaps and training needs through assessments, feedback, and performance data.
  • Coordinate with the Sales and HR teams to create monthly or quarterly training calendars.
  • Customize programs based on product lines, market trends, and team requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring & Coaching
  • Observe sales interactions and provide feedback to improve performance.
  • Mentor and coach sales representatives to strengthen their communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Evaluate post-training performance to measure learning outcomes and business impact.
  • Content & Resource Management
  • Maintain updated sales training materials in line with new products, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure training aligns with brand and business objectives.
  • Introduce modern learning tools and digital training methods for better engagement.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Track training attendance, completion, and performance improvement metrics.
  • Prepare reports on training effectiveness and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Support management in setting and achieving sales performance goals through training insights.
