IT System AdministratorAbout the RoleExperience required: 5 to 8 yearsShift Timings: Rotational shiftsLocation: Hyderabad, Work from OfficeWe are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of systems, networks, and cloud services. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to support our organization's technology needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and maintain Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive. Manage Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) for user identity management, single sign-on (SSO), and access control. Deploy, configure, and manage Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and endpoint security.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network infrastructure, including firewalls (e.g. CheckPoint), switches, routers, and wireless systems. Configure and maintain VPN solutions to ensure secure remote access for employees. Support and administer Azure cloud services, including virtual machines, storage, and networking components.
Implement and manage Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions to enhance security posture. Administer KnowBe4 platform (or similar) to deliver security awareness training and phishing simulations. Perform system upgrades, patch management, and backup operations to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and support business objectives. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing. Provide end-user support and training as needed.
Required Skills and QualificationsExperience: 5-8 years of hands-on experience in system administration or a related role. Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, etc.). Strong knowledge of Entra ID for identity and access management.
Experience with Intune for device management and security. Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and network troubleshooting. Expertise in configuring and managing VPN solutions.
Working knowledge of Azure cloud services and infrastructure. Familiarity with EDR tools for threat detection and response. Experience with KnowBe4 or similar security awareness platforms.
Soft Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
