Role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Quality Head to lead the Quality Assurance function for our LED TV manufacturing operations and ensure excellence across product, process, and customer experience.

Role Objective

To lead and oversee the entire Quality Assurance and Quality Control function for LED TV manufacturing — ensuring adherence to quality standards, continuous improvement of processes, and zero-defect product delivery to customers and OEM partners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Strategy & Leadership

* Define and implement quality systems, policies, and standards aligned with company goals and ISO requirements.

* Lead and mentor the QA/QC teams across incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality stages.

* Drive a zero-defect culture across manufacturing lines and supplier ecosystem.

2. Incoming Quality Control (IQC)

* Ensure strict inspection of components and materials (panels, mainboards, plastics, power supplies, etc.) before production.

* Collaborate with sourcing and vendor teams to qualify, audit, and improve supplier quality.

* Track supplier-wise rejection trends and initiate CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions).

3. In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)

* Monitor and control process quality parameters during SMT, assembly, and final line stages.

* Establish in-line checkpoints, standard inspection procedures (SIP), and work instructions.

* Lead process audits, SPC (Statistical Process Control), and defect analysis for yield improvement.

4. Outgoing Quality Assurance (OQA)

* Oversee final product testing, burn-in, reliability, and aging tests before dispatch.

* Ensure adherence to brand and OEM customer quality requirements.

* Implement end-of-line audit systems for defect traceability and corrective actions.

5. Field & Customer Quality

* Monitor field failures, service return analysis (RMA), and warranty claim trends.

* Coordinate with service and R&D teams for root cause analysis (RCA) and design feedback loops.

* Create regular MIS reports on field performance, customer complaints, and resolutions.

6. Continuous Improvement

* Drive Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Lean initiatives for process capability enhancement.

* Implement automated inspection and testing systems where feasible.

* Work with R&D to validate new product designs for manufacturability and reliability.

Key Skills & Requirements

* BE/B.Tech in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.

* Minimum 15 years of experience in Quality Management within LED TV / Consumer Electronics / Consumer Appliances/EMS industries.

* Strong knowledge of PCBA, SMT, Plastic, Power Supply, and Final Assembly process quality.

* Hands-on experience with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 systems, ESD S20:21

* Proven ability to lead and build high-performing QA teams.

* Expertise in problem-solving tools – 8D, FMEA, Pareto, Ishikawa, CAPA, SPC, MSA.

* Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

* Result-oriented, disciplined, and process-driven mindset.
