  • Strategy and Sales: Develop and implement online sales strategies, define KPIs, and analyze performance to drive revenue growth.
  • Website Management: Oversee the e-commerce platform's design, functionality, and overall user experience to ensure it's optimized for conversion.
  • Digital Marketing: Create and manage digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM (PPC), social media, and email marketing, to attract customers.
  • Data Analysis: Track key metrics like site traffic, conversion rates, and average order value, and use data to make informed decisions for improvement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments like marketing, IT, logistics, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer journey and align e-commerce with company goals.
  • Customer Experience: Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and ratings to identify areas for improvement and enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Security and Operations: Ensure the security of the website and payment systems to protect customer data and facilitate smooth transactions.

Common qualifications and skills

  • Education: Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (like Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce), Google Analytics, and digital marketing tools is crucial.
  • Marketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media advertising.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Leadership: Experience managing teams and collaborating with cross-functional groups.
