Role Overview:
We are looking for a Marketplace Manager to manage A marketplace manager is responsible for a company's online sales presence across various e-commerce platforms by creating and optimizing product listings, developing and executing promotional strategies, and analyzing sales data to drive growth and profitability
. Key duties include managing inventory and pricing, coordinating with marketing and logistics teams, monitoring competitor activity, and ensuring brand consistency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform and listing management:
- Manage and optimize product listings for accuracy, compelling descriptions, and high-quality images.
- Ensure product visibility by using relevant keywords and attributes for search engine optimization (SEO).
- Maintain product data, including pricing, discounts, and specifications.
- Sales and strategy:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability on online marketplaces.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to create and execute promotional campaigns tailored for e-commerce.
- Analyze market trends, sales data, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Operations and coordination:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate records and timely replenishment to avoid stockouts.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and customer service, for a seamless operation.
- Manage the order fulfillment process.
- Performance and reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as sales and conversion rates, and report on marketplace performance.
- Monitor customer reviews and address any issues related to products, shipping, or returns.
- Vendor and policy management:
- Build and maintain relationships with marketplace administrators and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all activities and listings comply with marketplace policies and regulations.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with marketplace vendors if applicable.
Requirements:
1. 1 Year – 3 years of experience in Marketplaces Management.
2. Hands-on experience with Amazon Ads, Flipkart Ads, Meesho Ads other plateform.
3. Strong analytical skills – must be comfortable working with Excel, data analysis, and performance tracking.
4. Good with numbers – must understand ROAS, CAC, CTR, and key ad performance metrics.
5. Excellent communication & client handling skills – ability to present insights and work with clients effectively.
