Our client is a trusted organization in the US Healthcare domain, dedicated to providing patients with seamless support for prescriptions, clinical services, billing inquiries, and feedback. As part of this collaboration, you'll play a vital role in enhancing patient satisfaction and ensuring smooth communication between patients, providers, and internal teams.
About the Role
We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our Mumbai team. You'll be the first point of contact for patients and healthcare partners, ensuring a smooth and positive experience at every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients, doctors, and pharmacies regarding prescriptions and healthcare services.
- Collect, update, and verify insurance and pharmacy details in the system.
- Create follow-up activities and reminders for patient communication and service continuity.
- Connect patients with pharmacists or doctors for counseling or clinical queries.
- Escalate calls to clinicians, insurance verification teams, or specialized departments when necessary.
- Schedule, cancel, or reschedule doctor appointments according to facility guidelines.
- Respond professionally to all patient inquiries in English, following company and HIPAA regulations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Strong listening, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
- Empathy and patience when handling sensitive or emotional situations.
- Adaptable to changing processes and systems.
- Prior experience in customer support or call center operations (US Healthcare experience preferred).
- Team player with the ability to meet daily performance goals.
- Must be based in Mumbai.
