Business Analyst e-Governance Projects

Experience: 4 to 7 Years

Location: Mumbai

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support the analysis, design, and implementation of e-Governance projects. The role involves close collaboration with government departments, IT teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into functional specifications, and ensure seamless delivery of digital public services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with government stakeholders to understand their business processes, pain points, and objectives.
  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions (workshops, interviews, etc.) and prepare BRS, FRS, and Use Case documents.
  • Map AS-IS and TO-BE processes for process re-engineering and digital transformation.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure functional requirements are accurately converted into system features.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation such as process flows, data flow diagrams, and user manuals.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test cases, coordinating user testing, and validating results.
  • Monitor and report project progress against defined KPIs and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, digital governance, and government IT standards.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and department officials.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/e-Governance/Public Sector projects.
  • Strong knowledge of G2C, G2B, and G2G service models.
  • Proven experience in preparing SRS, BRS, and other documentation for government projects.
  • Familiarity with IT systems in public administration, citizen services, or public utilities.
  • Proficiency with tools such as MS Visio, Balsamiq, Figma, JIRA, or equivalent.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
