Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Manager located in West Bengal, India. The Area Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily logistics operations, managing and taking orders for shipments, both international and national. The role includes supervising team performance, ensuring operational efficiency, providing customer support, and maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. Coordination with other departments and reporting on performance metrics will also be part of the daily tasks.

Qualifications

  • Strong logistics and supply chain management skills
  • Experience in team supervision and performance management
  • Proficiency in using technology systems for Track and Trace, MIS, and ERP
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and resolve issues efficiently
  • Experience in the logistics industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
