The Team: Private Markets – Rounds of Funding
At Private Markets – Rounds of Funding, team collects and validates data using search tools, press releases, company websites, stock exchange websites and regulatory filings with a view to provide in-depth, accurate and timely information about Private Markets / ROF, which is then provided to our clients in the form of a formulated end product for S&P Global Market Intelligence.
The Impact –
This role will influence Private Markets / ROF Dataset. The role encompasses processing highly accurate and timely data for the clients as a primary objective. Additionally, this role will require collaborating within domain while covering different stakeholders from Data Operations/Data Management for driving Projects/Initiatives smoothly. This role also will require an eagle eye to make processes more efficient over the period of time through Automation/LEAN or using Functionalities available in house.

Responsibilities –
- Profiling/Collecting Private Markets / ROF data from primary and secondary sources using financial knowledge
- Deliver on predefined individual and team targets including delivering outcomes with highest level of quality and excellence
- Lead/Contribute on initiatives to improve individual and team quality by identifying systematic checks
- Proactively identify process/procedure/guideline/data gaps and work with concerned teams to fix it
- Having LEAN Mindset - Identify and execute on LEAN/Automation opportunities
- Act as a mentor/trainer to new hires/subordinates post gaining adequate knowledge and experience on the dataset
- Independently lead/contribute on projects to improve quality, timeliness and comprehensiveness
- Effectively collaborate with stakeholders across levels and teams on assigned projects/ad hoc responsibilities
- Acts as a resource to the team in resolving daily workflow challenges/concerns
- Build governance model around workflows by creating SQL & Excel based reports to ensure SOPs are followed
What we're looking for –
Basic Qualifications –
- Minimum experience of 3 to 5 Years with Proven track record
- Strong knowledge of Finance & Accounts
- Strong research, analytical and interpretation skills
- Proven track record of taking initiative and demonstrating resourcefulness
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Problem identification and problem solving skills
- Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize
- Proficiency in MS Office Tools including Advanced MS Excel
- Good understanding of S&P Products such as CapitalIQ Pro, CapitalIQ, Excel Plug Ins, etc
- Working knowledge of SQL is preferred
- Willingness to work in Rotational Shifts
Preferred Qualifications –
- Knowledge of Private Markets / ROF will be added advantage
- Advance knowledge of SQL and Excel would be added advantage
- Working Knowledge of Visualization Tools like Tableau/Power BI
- Experience in LEAN & Automation projects is a plus
Candidates with working knowledge of LLM / GEN AI would be preferred
