Job Summary:

The team member will be an integral part of the legal function of the organization which supports the organization's global operations and will proactively work to ensure compliance with global and regional laws and mitigating legal risks.

This role requires prior experience in contract management, including drafting, vetting, and negotiation. Experience in data protection and privacy laws will be considered an advantage.

B. Key Responsibilities:

i. Contract Management


•Draft, review, negotiate, and execute contracts, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with clients, vendors, and partners within the market research ecosystem.


•Ensure contracts align with the company's legal and commercial interests.


•Maintain a contract repository and manage renewals.

ii. Research and Advisory


•Ability to conduct detailed and thorough research and thereafter advise the business functions on specific matters on which advise is sought.


•Advise on the applicable data protection laws and suggest the necessary actions to be taken by the business teams to ensure compliance.

iii. Stakeholder Management


•Work closely with business teams to mitigate risks and resolve legal challenges.


•Liaise with external legal firms, regulatory authorities, and industry bodies.


•Exceptional communication skills.

C. Required Qualifications and Experience:


•Bachelor's or master's degree in law (LLB/LLM).


•2-4 years of experience in corporate legal roles, preferably in the technology, market research, SaaS, or KPO industries.


•Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, intellectual property rights, and data privacy regulations at both local and international levels.
