Job Description – SEO Specialist

Location: On-site (As per company policy)

Experience: 1–2.5 Years

Salary: Based on skills and experience (15k to 25k)

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist who can improve our website visibility, drive organic growth, and support our marketing strategy. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, along with hands-on experience using SEO tools and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research and create keyword strategies for multiple projects.
  • Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog posts for on-page SEO.
  • Perform technical SEO audits and coordinate fixes with the development team.
  • Build and manage high-quality backlinks through ethical SEO practices.
  • Monitor daily/weekly performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other tools.
  • Track rankings, analyze competitor performance, and execute improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with content writers to improve content quality and search visibility.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, search engine updates, and industry changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an SEO Executive/Specialist (1–2.5 years).
  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as:
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Search Console
  • Ahrefs / SEMrush
  • Screaming Frog
  • Keyword Planner
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with content strategy and blog optimization.
  • Knowledge of WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
  • Understanding of local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization.
  • Basic knowledge of social media marketing adds value.
