Key Responsibilities: IT Support Engineer

System & Network Administration:

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, file sharing systems, and network printers.
  • Install and upgrade operating systems (Windows, Linux) and software applications.
  • Set up and maintain hardware, including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including patch panel and I/O troubleshooting in server rooms.

Network & Security:

  • Manage and secure network devices including switches, routers, VLANs, and routing protocols.
  • Ensure proper configuration of port security and maintain a good understanding of TCP/IP protocols and network topologies.

Virtualization & Backup:

  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V, VMware, and VirtualBox.
  • Perform regular backups of servers, user data, and email systems.
  • Maintain up-to-date software and applications with the latest security patches.

IT Asset Management:

  • Maintain an IT asset inventory and oversee asset assignments to staff.
  • Provide technical support to remote sites as needed.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV and access control systems; experience in installation and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of managing IP-PBX systems, including IP phone extension setup, maintenance, and call routing.
  • Monitor critical IT assets, servers, and network performance.
  • Respond promptly to helpdesk tickets and email queries.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for ongoing IT projects.
  • 4+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or desktop support.

Nice to Have Experience:

  • Knowledge of LIS, PACS, and RIS systems.
  • Modalities worklist troubleshooting & PACS Management
  • Experience managing firewalls, switching, and routing.
  • Server room management.
  • Backup management.
  • Network monitoring expertise.
