Industry/Experience Specification: Candidate from Facility Management, Manpower or related industries preferred
Job Role:The Business Development person is responsible for identifying, developing, and acquiring new clients for integrated facility management services, including soft services (housekeeping, landscaping, pest control, pantry, waste management) and hard services (MEP, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire & safety systems). The role involves building strong client relationships, preparing proposals, and ensuring business growth while maintaining service excellence.
Job Description / Responsibilities, Goals and Scope:01) Business Development & Sales
Generate new business leads through networking, cold calling, client visits, tenders, and online platforms.
Understand client requirements for facility management (soft & hard services) and provide tailored solutions.
Develop and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients.
Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
02) Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Act as a primary point of contact for clients during the sales and onboarding process.
Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling/cross-selling.
03) Market Research & Strategy:
Monitor market trends, competitors, and pricing strategies.
Identify opportunities in commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional segments.
Suggest new service offerings and business strategies to management.
04) Coordination & Execution
Coordinate with operations and technical teams (housekeeping, MEP, HVAC, etc.) for site surveys, proposals, and service delivery plans.
Ensure smooth handover of projects to the operations team post-contract signing.
Support client onboarding with proper documentation and agreements.
05) Reporting & Documentation
Maintain updated records of leads, opportunities, and client communications in CRM/Excel.
Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts for management.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards in contracts and proposals.
Required Key Skills / Desired Experience:
01) Educational Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
02) Work Experience: 2-5 years of experience in business development/sales, preferably in facility management, housekeeping, or MEP services.
03) Proven track record of achieving sales targets and handling B2B clients.
04) Notice Period: Candidates who can join immediately or in 7 or 10 days would be considered favorably.
05) Salary Range: as per norms Lacs Per Annum.
06) Communication and Languages: Good communication skills in English and Telugu. Knowledge of additional languages like Hindi will be advantageous.
07) Strong knowledge of facility management industry (soft & hard services).
08) Strong sales and negotiation skills.
09) Ability to prepare commercial proposals, cost sheets, and presentations.
10) Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and tender/bidding processes.
11) Excellent interpersonal, and presentation skills.
12) Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
13) Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
14) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
