Position: Sales Executive / Manager – Plastics & Chemicals
Overview
We are looking for a dynamic sales professional with a strong background in the
plastics and chemical industry
(PVC pipes, masterbatches, compounds, and related products). The ideal candidate will excel at identifying opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and closing sales through a consultative approach.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Generate new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing customer accounts.
- Identify and qualify leads in the
plastics and chemical industry
, focusing on products such as PVC pipes, masterbatches, and compounds. - Manage complex negotiations with senior decision-makers in manufacturing, distribution, and trading companies.
- Build rapport and establish long-term partnerships with customers by providing technical and commercial support.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- 1–5 years of proven sales experience in
plastics, chemicals, or related industries
. - Strong understanding of products such as PVC resins, masterbatches, plastic additives, and compounds.
- Demonstrable track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical and commercial solutions effectively.
- Negotiation and relationship management skills to handle senior-level customers.
Preferred
- Background in
chemical engineering / polymer science / plastics technology
is an added advantage. - Network of existing customers in the plastics, pipe manufacturing, or compounding industry.
