Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily sand plant operations including crushing, screening, washing, and drying.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of resources to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Monitor raw material availability and manage inventory levels.
  • Team Leadership
  • Lead and mentor plant supervisors, technicians, and labor teams.
  • Conduct regular training on safety, equipment handling, and process improvements.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures for sand grading, moisture content, and cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with the quality department to resolve non-conformities and customer complaints.
  • Maintain documentation for audits and compliance.
  • Maintenance & Safety
  • Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and utilities.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety drills and inspections.
  • Process Optimization
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
  • Evaluate new technologies and equipment upgrades for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with procurement and engineering teams for plant modifications.
  • Reporting & Compliance
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production, downtime, and resource utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and environmental norms (e.g., pollution control, mining regulations).

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Mining, or Industrial Engineering; Diploma holders with strong experience may also be considered.
  • 812 years of experience in sand plant operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of sand processing techniques, equipment, and quality standards.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, production planning tools, and safety management systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
