Role Overview
The Global Business Development Manager will lead international expansion of our agri-input portfolio (biostimulants, biologicals, fertilizers, pesticides, and agri commodities). The role requires driving growth across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe by developing strong distribution networks, forging strategic partnerships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering on revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Market Expansion & Sales
- Identify, develop, and onboard distributors/partners across EMEA region.
- Formulate and execute sales strategies to achieve international revenue targets.
- Expand market presence for BioFizz, Newchem, and Earth Farm product lines.
2.
Business Development
- Negotiate distributorship, licensing, and partnership agreements.
- Develop customized go-to-market strategies per country.
- Explore opportunities in both B2B (bulk) and B2C (brand distribution) segments.
3.
Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensure product registration and compliance with local laws and FCO/biostimulant regulations.
- Work with consultants/partners to fast-track approvals.
4.
Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with key buyers, distributors, and government agencies.
- Represent the company at international exhibitions, trade shows, and industry delegations.
5.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Conduct competitor analysis, pricing studies, and market trend assessments.
- Provide management with monthly reports, forecasts, and country-wise strategies.
- Monitor collections, LCs, and credit terms.
Key Requirements
- MBA/PGDM in International Business/Marketing or related field.
- 8–12 years' experience in international business development, preferably in
agri-inputs / agrochemicals / fertilizers
. - Strong knowledge of export documentation, LC procedures, and international trade laws.
- Proven track record of scaling exports in Africa, Middle East, or Europe.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and cross-cultural management skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively across international markets.
