We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Intern to support our team on various redevelopment projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in core civil engineering principles, a keen interest in the practical aspects of construction, and the digital skills necessary to thrive in a modern engineering environment. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges in estimation, planning, and project coordination.

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

  • Estimation & Costing: Assist in the preparation of preliminary cost estimates, quantity take-offs (BOQ), and material schedules for redevelopment projects.
  • Project Planning: Support the project team in developing project schedules, monitoring progress, and updating project plans using relevant software tools.
  • Technical Communication: Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and daily progress updates. Liaise with team members and other stakeholders under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • FSH Calculations: Apply knowledge to calculate FSH (Floor Space Index/Housing) as per local regulations, a critical component for redevelopment project feasibility and planning.
  • Utilize essential civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, or similar) for drafting and planning.
  • Leverage Microsoft Excel for data analysis, creating trackers, and performing complex calculations.
  • Digital Marketing Support: Contribute to the company's online presence by assisting with content creation for social media, blog posts, and website updates related to our projects and company expertise.
