Qualifications:

  • Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 25 years of experience in automobile service, technical support, or related role.
  • Experience with [specific brand/segment if required, e.g., passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, EVs].

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of automobile systems (engine, transmission, electrical, electronic, diagnostics).
  • Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools, scanners, and workshop equipment.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical staff/customers.
  • Knowledge of warranty policies and service processes.
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, ERP, diagnostic software).
  • Customer-focused with a service-oriented mindset.

  • Resolution time for technical issues.
  • Customer satisfaction scores.
  • First-time fix rate.
  • Number of technicians trained and certified.
