Purpose of Position

A Sales Support specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the company's positive image by ensuring solution to support function of sales on time bound manner. This person must be able to discuss measurement objectives and the operational conditions likely to affect them, review, coordinate with key customers support functional team. The person should provide customers with critical advice and consultation on order processing, delivery, etc. The person primary job to help the sales manager with back-end activity and work as team for Sea-Bird's growth in India.

The Sales support Specialist reports to RSM India, Middle East and South East Asia and Dotted line to USA (Sales Operation)

Job Location:

·      The role is based out of Bangalore WQ office.

Key Responsibilities

·      Provide support by preparing the Technical offer with help of Oracle ERP once the parts are verified by Sales Manager

·      Review PO copies as per the offer submitted by SBS

·      Review terms and condition as offered by SBS

·      Review and administration of sales and service contracts

·      Generating SOA with help of Oracle ERP

·      Crosschecking with US team / Manger for Correct SOA with end-user.

·      Learn and apply sales and service policies and procedures, become familiar with the company's operations/ engineering functions and communicate, liaise, internally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business.

·      Identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages post-sales process and resolve issues in a time-bound manner.

·      Support internal sales team and external international sales representatives.

·      Ensure that all orders are shipped on time by actively managing the list of shipments scheduled for the weeks ahead to ensure all customer related information is received and cleared for shipment (ie. prepayments, letters of credit, accurate billing/shipping information, etc.)

·      Prepare reports and other sales related documents

·      Planning and coordinating shipments and supervising delivery

·      Managing customers and personnel and ensuring that shipments comply with domestic laws of countries reporting sales manager is handling (India, M East countries and SE Asia countries) as well as international export

·      Other duties as assigned

Language Skills:

·      Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community and direct them to the appropriate resource

Mathematical Skills:

·      Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages.

·      Good in MS Excel

Reasoning Ability:

·      Knowledge of how related groups coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve objectives

Qualifications:

·      Bachelor Degree from A Recognized University (Science/Engineering), with 2+ yrs. of Experience

·      Experience working with Oracle ERP (Operational aspect) is desired

·      Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Data and fact-based problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, vendors, customers, management and all other office staff.

·      Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on accuracy, high quality standards and business success

·      Demonstrated proficiency in time management
