Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the LAN/WLAN space, generating leads, and closing sales deals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their networking needs, and providing tailored solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Possessing in-depth knowledge of LAN and WLAN technologies, including hardware (switches, routers, access points, etc.) and software (network management tools, security solutions, etc.).
  • Solution Design and Presentation: Assisting clients in designing network solutions, preparing proposals, and presenting technical solutions and product demonstrations.
  • Market Knowledge: Staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in the networking industry, including emerging technologies like SD-WAN, cloud networking, and cybersecurity.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams (sales, pre-sales, technical teams) to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining accurate sales records, preparing reports, and documenting sales activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols), and experience with network devices from major vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme Networks, Avaya, etc.).
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets, building relationships, and closing deals.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and Problem-Solving abilities.
  • Customer Focus: A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and building long-term relationships.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field is typically required.
  • Experience: 6-8 years of experience in sales, pre-sales, or technical roles within the networking industry is often preferred.
