Role & responsibilities

  1. Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification

  2. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and unsafe conditions.

  3. Carry out risk assessments and recommend preventative measures to mitigate identified risks.

  4. Ensure that site-specific risk assessments are updated as necessary.

  5. Safety Compliance & Regulation

  6. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, as well as company-specific safety policies.

  7. Keep up-to-date with new legislation and maintain a register of site activities in accordance with legal standards.

  8. Training & Development

  9. Conduct safety induction programs for new employees, contractors, and visitors.

  10. Organize and conduct safety training sessions for site workers on topics like fire safety, equipment handling, and emergency procedures.

  11. Accident Investigation & Reporting

  12. Investigate incidents, accidents, or near-miss occurrences and prepare reports with corrective and preventive actions.

  13. Maintain an accident report register and follow up on any required medical or legal procedures.

  14. Emergency Preparedness

  15. Develop and implement emergency response plans in coordination with site management.

  16. Organize regular drills for fire, medical emergencies, and evacuation procedures.

  17. Documentation & Record-Keeping

  18. Maintain records of safety inspections, risk assessments, and safety drills.

  19. Ensure that all documentation is readily available and up-to-date.

  20. Collaboration with Management & Site Teams

  21. Work closely with project managers, contractors, and on-site workers to foster a culture of safety.

  22. Provide recommendations on safety practices and improvements, and ensure effective communication of safety protocols.

  23. Safety Equipment Maintenance

  24. Ensure the availability and proper maintenance of safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, PPE, first aid kits, and emergency alarms.

Preferred candidate profile

* Diploma in Fire and Safety, ADIS

* Minimum 2 years experience

* Experience in Real estate

* Can handle invidiously site ( Project )

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics
