Responsibilities :

  • Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards.
  • Gain a deep understanding of products and services, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content.
  • Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with software development and product management teams to understand Product requirements.
  • Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
  • Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that adhere to organizational and legal standards and allow for easy data migration.
  • Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent voice across all :
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Humanities/communications, or relevant technical field.
  • A firm understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and DDLC (Document Development Life Cycle).
  • Previous experience in software product development teams.
  • Experience in using any of the Documentation Platforms, Markdown Language Tools.
  • Experience in creating marketing content such as demo scripts, brochures, and white papers.
  • Experience with creative writing is an added advantage.
  • Good to have exposure to programming or Application Development.
  • Create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for technical products like Spring, Java, Angular, and Bootstrap, ensuring ease of use for developers and end-users.
  • Develop training materials, tutorials, and guides to effectively educate users on technical topics and product features.
  • 4+ years of experience as an effective technical writer.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter.
  • Experience in writing Software product documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Good to have exposure to Programming or Application Development using Java.
  • Ability to handle multiple products simultaneously.
