Job Description

We are seeking an individual to fill the role of Junior Technical Writer, responsible for creating clear and user-friendly content that assists end-users in understanding and utilizing product features effectively.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, edit, and maintain software documentation, including user guides, release notes, and onboarding training content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical information and translate it into accurate documentation.
  • Adhere to internal documentation guidelines and processes.
  • Organize and structure content with a focus on clarity and accessibility.
  • Identify content gaps to enhance overall documentation quality.
  • Participate in peer reviews and incorporate feedback from external reviewers.
  • Support software development workflow by participating in retrospective meetings and providing ad-hoc feedback to developers.
  • Conduct internal testing as part of documenting a feature.
  • Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in writing technical documents.
  • Strong interest in technology and software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to comprehend technical concepts and ask insightful questions to clarify them.
  • Good working knowledge of agile development processes.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
  • Team spirit, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of documentation tools is desired.
  • Excellent written communication and editing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
