Technical Documentation Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Technical Documentation Specialist to create clear and concise documentation for our software. As a member of our team, you will work alongside product consultants, developers, and QA teams to produce user-friendly content that helps end users understand and use our product features effectively.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in writing and a passion for learning about software and technical documentation best practices. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Writing, editing, and maintaining software documentation including user guides, release notes, and onboarding training content.
  • Collaborating with software architects, engineers, developers, QA, and consultant teams to gather technical information and translate it into clear and accurate documentation.
  • Following internal documentation guidelines and processes.
  • Organizing and structuring content for clarity.
  • Identifying content gaps to improve the overall quality of documentation.
  • Participating in peer reviews and incorporating feedback from external reviewers.
  • Supporting software development workflow by participating in retrospective meetings and other technical demonstrations.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in writing technical documents.
  • A strong interest in technology and the software development lifecycle.
  • The ability to understand technical concepts and ask insightful questions to clarify them.
  • Good working knowledge of agile development processes.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks.
  • Team spirit, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
