Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Management:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of travel agents to achieve sales and service targets.

  • Provide ongoing feedback, training, and support to team members on GDS systems and company policies.
  • Monitor team performance and provide regular reports to management.

  • Manage team discipline, absenteeism, and staff retention.

  • GDS Operations:

  • Oversee team members' use of GDS platforms such as Sabre, Galileo, and Amadeus for bookings, reissues, and refunds.

  • Ensure that team members maintain high standards in booking accuracy and efficiency.

  • Customer Service & Issue Resolution:

  • Handle escalated customer inquiries, complaints, and complex travel-related issues.

  • Provide expert advice on destinations and travel packages.

  • Ensure a seamless travel experience for customers.

  • Process & Compliance:

  • Ensure team adherence to company processes, procedures, and quality standards.

  • Stay updated on airline rules, regulations, and travel industry trends to offer informed guidance.

  • Reporting & Communication:

  • Communicate detailed information to managers, clients, and customers.

  • Work closely with other departments to achieve organizational goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Team Leader in the travel or BPO industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS), including Amadeus, Sabre, and Galileo.
  • Strong knowledge of geography and travel sales processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work from the office.
