Key Responsibilities

  • Training Delivery: Conduct comprehensive training sessions on travel operations, focusing on GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) to build employee proficiency in making reservations, managing PNRs (Passenger Name Records), and handling ticketing.
  • Content Development: Create and update training materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and exercises, tailored to the specific needs of the travel BPO and its clients.
  • Needs Assessment: Identify skill gaps and training requirements by collaborating with operations teams, conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) (TNA) and Training Needs Identification (TNI) (TNI).
  • Performance Coaching: Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to trainees to help them master GDS tools and processes, and to improve customer service skills.
  • Reporting and Monitoring: Track and report on trainee progress and training metrics, ensuring high standards of quality and throughput in training programs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders, such as HR and Operations, and external stakeholders to drive process improvements and provide floor support.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industry standards, fare rules, airline policies, and client-specific requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience in conducting process training within a fast-paced BPO or operations environment, with a strong background in the travel or airline industry.
  • GDS Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency and hands-on experience with major GDS platforms like Amadeus, Sabre, and Galileo.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of travel and airline operations, including fare rules, booking systems, and customer service workflows.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex travel terms clearly to new agents.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in travel and tourism, business administration, or a related field is often preferred.
