Position Title -DGM/GM - Finance and Accounts

Company - NSL Group

Department - Finance and Accounts

Location- Hyderabad

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for the preparation of financial statements at group level in IND As. Responsible for all statutory-related matters. Coordinate with vertical CFOs as well as corporate teams for timely preparation of financials in group level. Coordination with statutory auditors / internal auditors and statutory authorities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Consolidation of accounts from multiple companies/entities to prepare the balance sheet and financial statements of the corporate entity.
  • Coordinate with finance leads of group companies/entities to collate financial data periodically and present it to top management.
  • Create review frameworks for monitoring and tracking the key financial and business metrics of group companies
  • Coordination with statutory auditors / internal auditors and statutory authorities. to ensure timely finalization, approval and submission of audited financials.
  • Review and Analyze the Monthly and quarterly reviews of group companies along with comparison to performance of listed peer companies for respective business verticals
  • Coordinate and monitor the timely submission of reports to the RBI in compliance with NBFC regulations.
  • Monitoring the day-to-day activities in the finance and accounts team.
  • Evaluate and optimize taxation liabilities within the provisions of applicable statutes.
  • Identify leakages in the system and formulate processes to plug them and ensure that these cases are not repeated in future.
  • Other related assignments in the holding company

INTERACTIONS

Internal

  • Liaise with finance leads at the corporate office.
  • Engage in regular interaction with vertical CFOs for strategic financial coordination.
  • Engaged with top management of the Group, including promoter directors, on key financial and strategic matters.

External

  • Engagement with statutory auditors and internal auditors for audit coordination and compliance.
  • Interaction with statutory authorities for compliance and regulatory matters.

Qualification & Experience :

  • Chartered Accountant
  • 15-20 years post qualification experience, should have worked on similar roles in earlier organizations

Required Functional Competencies

  • 10 Years of experience post qualification in Preparation of financial statements in IND As
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with and influence cross functional teams
  • Continuous improvement attitude and fast learning ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
